Greetings! My name is Christina, and I am honored that you’ve stopped by Sweet Dependence.

I am a follower of Jesus Christ––a reality that fills me with the greatest joy and deep hope. The abundant life I have in Jesus fuels my writing; the beauty of His character and the truths of His Word are woven into the words I put on the page.

Hand-in-hand with my passion for writing is my love for reading. Classic fiction, theology, poetry, and memoir are regular reads for me. Beyond written words, I love laughing with my family, diving into the deep end of conversation with friends, and walking in my neighborhood, whatever the season, whatever the weather. These are the things that make me bubble up with gratitude and refresh my soul.

I received my undergraduate degree in Communications & Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute. During that time, I wrote and self-published my first book, Sweet Dependence: The Glorious Reality of Relying on Christ. You can find out more about the book & purchase a copy here!

My desire with this blog is to proclaim the steadfast and trustworthy nature of Jesus in every season of our lives. Out of the most painful experiences of my life, the joy of knowing Jesus has come alive. That is my hope and prayer for you, dear reader, that you would be grounded in the faithfulness of Jesus Christ.
