In addition to writing Sweet Dependence, I met with and interviewed 4 women – Margaret, Jubilee, Mary, and Bennie – and asked them to recount a time or season in their life when depending on Christ became real and alive for them. They spoke of their experiences with courage and honesty, and it was an honor to craft their photostories and weave their accounts into Sweet Dependence.
